The most important figure to look at when making the final choice of a company and policy is your total "out-of-pocket" expense including the premium. A number of other factors besides the premium will determine this and you'll need to do some calculations to determine this. Although the book has some tables that you can print and use while doing your research, I've prepared some Excel worksheets with built in formulas to automate some of the calculations for you.
